“The experience of a lifetime.”

“Classy, delicious and warmly welcoming."

“Unsurpassed beauty…casual and relaxing, yet elegant.”

“The most considerate, caring and competent hosts.”

“Why in the world would anyone stay anywhere else?”

We hear it all the time: “You guys have thought of everything.” Nearly 5,000 guests have so far experienced the history, luxury and personal service that define The Royal Elizabeth. Flip through our pages of guest comments and you’ll quickly uncover a theme—one of exceeded expectations.

How many times have you chosen a hotel, inn or resort by the contents of its website and then arrive to find something that seems completely NOT what you expected or lacking in some very important ways?

We are often asked to share the story of how this home and The Royal Elizabeth came into our lives. Click here to view the January 14, 2007 Arizona Daily Star article reflecting on that very subject.

You will never feel that disappointment when you arrive at The Liz. You will, in fact, be immediately uplifted with our warm welcome, detailed and attentive tour, and the excitement you’ll feel inside for having chosen this place! Whether vacation or business calls you to The Royal Elizabeth, you’ll feel worlds away and in good hands within minutes of crossing our doorstep.

Our guests have rather mixed emotions, though, when it’s time to check-out. They are very sad to be leaving but, at the same time, are already mentally planning their next visit.

Many tell us that it will be difficult going back to cold cereal and oatmeal for breakfast. Others say they will miss our relaxing atmosphere and meticulous personal service. Nearly everyone leaves us with a warm hug and the genuine feeling that we’ve made, yet, another good friend in the world—one who we are very likely to welcome back again in the near future.

Forty per-cent of Royal Elizabeth guests each year are, in fact, repeat guests. At the breakfast table on nearly any given morning you will meet someone who’s been here before—once, twice, or even dozens of times.

Your first visit to The Liz will be truly memorable. Ours is a place you will come back to again and again.
