Our most elegant and romantic suite is over 650 square feet and features three large spaces. The bedroom area's point-of-pride is a stunning Art Deco-era, burled maple 6-piece queen bedroom set. The nearly 6-foot long by 7-foot high armoire hides a 30" television, VHS/DVD player, refrigerator, safe deposit box and ample storage for hanging items. The adjacent living room area offers a beautiful and comfortable living room setting with a red silk sofa and chair, end table and coffee table. A sunny bay window hosts an antique dining table and four chairs and overlooks a fragrant lemon verbena hedge--typically teeming with butterflies and hummingbirds. An antique wood vanity was modified
as a wet bar with sink and beverage storage below and sits below a large interior opening that passes through to the two-person Jacuzzi tub. The room also offers a full private bath with traditional tub and shower. A private entrance door leads outside to a small sitting porch, the garden path and the pool and spa area.

Bask in this spacious 600 square foot sunny, two-room suite accented by an 11-foot high window that frames fiery red bougainvillea clusters that dangle over the garden path. A clerestory window spreads winter morning sunlight across the 17-foot ceilings and down smooth white plaster walls. The Ryan Patrick bedroom area offers a luxurious high-back queen bed that looks onto a very charming antique brass fireplace, modified as natural gas and working simply by remote control from you bedside. The bedroom armoire also hides your satellite television and video playing equipment, refrigerator and safe deposit box. Beneath the towering living room window sits a hand-carved antique sofa and coffee table, along
with a dining table with expandable leaves and three dining chairs. A private bathroom, also with a 17-foot ceiling, is complete with tub and shower. Ryan Patrick also has a private exit door to the garden path, pool and spa.

This regal 500 square foot, two-room suite was historically Judge Blenman’s law office and stands uniquely apart from other guest rooms by the presence of a 4-foot by 7-foot ornately hand carved fir fret panel above the room’s entrance. Sydney Marie features a lofty 17-foot ceiling and a pair of tall mullioned windows. The bedroom area is also unique, featuring a beautiful Eduardian-style queen bed and oak armoire which houses the satellite television, video playing equipment, refrigerator and safe deposit box, along with an abundance of shelf and hanging storage space. The bedroom area also hosts a 1960s-era Lane dining table and chairs plus a hand-carved 7-foot antique sofa. A separate sitting room provides

another space to relax with an additional daybed/sofa and desk and a large, sunny window that looks out upon brilliant orange Mexican bird of paradise, red bougainvillea and sculptural 15-foot high prickly pear cactus plants. The daybed in Sydney Marie can also provide comfortable sleeping on one twin bed. A vanity sink and mirror are along one wall of the bedroom and are around the corner from a separate private bathroom with floor shower (no tub). A private exit door opens beneath a 30-foot-high lighted date palm that heads the garden path as it leads toward the pool and spa.

The maximum occupancy of Sydney Marie is any adult/child combination of up to three people making use of one queen bed and one twin bed.

Let your earthly spirit come alive in this 550 square foot tranquil suite with an airy 11-foot false ceiling that conceals a 5-foot high by 120-foot long Arts-and-Crafts era fresco--hidden to protect the integrity of the painting until such time when it can be properly restored and exposed. Formerly Judge Blenman’s law library, Sara Page is complete with a queen bedroom highlighted by two tall mullioned windows and a nearly 8-foot long armoire that contains the Judge's law encyclopedias. Adjacent to the bed there is a nice sitting area and coffee table. A sitting room separated by a glass-mullioned door provides still

more space and features a daybed/sofa, a large, sunny window and private exit door that leads to the front porch of the house via cactus and succulent garden and voluminous purple lantana beds. The daybed in Sara Page can provide comfortable sleeping on one twin bed. The suite also offers a spacious private bath with an original claw-foot tub/shower and additional closet space.

The maximum occupancy of Sara Page is any adult/child combination of up to three people making use of one queen bed and one twin bed. For the comfort of larger families, we recommend reserving the Sara Page Suite along with the adjoinable Nick Anthony Room to provide you with a very large three-room suite with two queen beds, one twin bed and two full bathrooms.

Those that prefer something cozier than a multiple-room suite will enjoy this charming, 450 square foot single room with 17-foot ceilings and its original 19th-Century wallpaper. A graceful Queen Anne bedroom set features a queen bed, two high-backed wing chairs, two night stands, desk and armoire, which hosts the room’s satellite television, refrigerator and safe deposit box. The Rose Room has a large private bath with ‘stall’ shower and is our only room that has a small but quaint private sitting porch with outdoor seating beneath the branches of a black mission fig tree, accessed through old-style Palladian garden doors.

Delight in a touch of England’s Wedgwood furnished with a queen brass bed, fainting couch, antique pull-down desk, mirrored bureau and antique armoire recessed into a former fireplace/chimney alcove. This single room is cozy yet comfortable at nearly 350 square feet and features all of the standard amenities of even our largest suite—including satellite television, video players, refrigerator and safe deposit box. Though Nick Anthony is our only room without its own outdoor access, there are, however, two large north-facing windows to brighten the bedroom and two additional windows that draw natural light into the spacious private bath, which does provide a traditional tub and shower arrangement.
